Engaging, educating, and recognizing individuals whose service enriches Nevada communities
* Serve. Learn. Inspire. Classroom Engagement Education Program
* Gratitude Awards Program
* Serve.Learn.Inspire. Community Engagement Program
The Gratitude Awards Program was developed to inspire and motivate youth to create projects that benefit their communities.
Each of the award categories will recognize an individual, small team (2-10 youth), and large team (11 or more youth) for their projects that demonstrate the highest level of public service.
Each entrant (individual or team) is encouraged to be visionary, innovative, and results-oriented. Gratitude Awards participants apply online in a three-step application process. Only one application is required for each entry.
Award recipients will be recognized at an awards event at their schools and receive recognition in the Gratitude Awards Digest. This digest is posted on PublicServiceNV.org, as well as distributed to key education decision-makers throughout Clark County. Recipients will also determine which nonprofit and/or school will receive a donation in their name(s). In addition, recipients will have the opportunity to participate in high-level leadership training.
“During a global pandemic, it’s important to find ways to help families in need. It feels really good when this involves providing food and other home goods to families who are struggling to pay their hospital bills.” - Team Co-Leaders, Leaders in Training, 2020-2021
